FAQ
What is this website?
This is a promotional website for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, designed around a Terran Dominion theme. Interacting with the site in different ways will advance the progress bar on the main page. This will unlock exclusive content, including art, posters, music, ringtones, and videos, leading up to the game's July 27 release date.
What is the Terran Dominion?
In StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, the Terran Dominion controls the majority of human colonies and planets in the Koprulu sector. The Dominion's emperor, Arcturus Mengsk, rules through oppression, fear, and surveillance. The Dominion is in conflict with Raynor's Raiders, a ragtag band of rebel fighters and the protagonists of the StarCraft II terran campaign.
How can I help advance the progress bar?
The progress bar will advance as people take the entrance exam, submit propaganda posters to the art contest, and click on any of the Facebook Like or Share buttons found throughout this website. The more people that interact with the site in these ways, the faster the bar will move. You can Like and Share as many things as you wish; each time you Like or Share something, it advances the bar. Keep in mind that as more content is unlocked and as more propaganda poster submissions are added, there will be more and more items to Like and Share.
When do items unlock?
Each section of the progress bar represents 5% of the total goal. When the bar advances by 5%, a new section will light up, unlocking an exclusive piece of content. When the bar is completely filled, the final (and most awesome) unlockable item will be awarded.
How does the propaganda poster contest work?
For years, the Dominion has employed propaganda to keep its citizenry fearful and malleable. Contest entrants will submit original artwork in the style of a propaganda poster. Examples of this style of poster can be found throughout the site. Contest entries will be added to the propaganda poster section of the site, and they can then be Shared on Facebook. Once the submission period ends, you'll be able to Like the submitted propaganda posters, and each Like counts as a vote for that submission. The poster with the most Likes wins!
